  • *Meet with clients to establish employability plan, goals, and other necessary avenues of sustainability

    *Make referrals to other agencies or employers as appropriate

    *Respond to all voicemails and emails within 24 hours; messages left over the weekend will be addressed with 48 hours

    *Maintain updated files and records of all active clients

    *Treat all clients and associates with respect and inclusivity

    *Maintain contact with client via phone, text, email between coaching sessions

    *Be on time for all sessions

    *Contact client directly to reschedule appointment

    *Provide tools and necessary support for solving issues with employability, sustainability, and holistic wellness

  • *Recognize the privacy of and be respectful and kind to all WOC staff and referring agencies, including but not limited to, interns, office guests, volunteers, other clients, volunteers

    *Be respectful of the time commitments and limitations. Coaching sessions are scheduled for 30-minute windows; if you need additional time, please reach out to your coach directly.

    *Meet regularly with coach, in person or virtually, at least every two weeks

    *Contact coach directly to cancel or reschedule an appointment

    *Be on-time for all coaching sessions. If you are more than 15 minutes late, your appointment will be cancelled and will be reported as no-show. If client accumulates three “no-show” appointments, their file may be closed.

    *Respond to all coach inquiries/contact within 48 hours. If no contact is maintained, client file may be closed to accommodate other individuals who request services.

    *Keep coach informed about any changes in employment, living arrangements, or wellness factors that can impede independence and sustainability

    *Be responsible for keeping track of all WOC appointments and/or registered programs. WOC will not contact clients to remind them of appointments or start times.

    *Recognize that WOC is bipartisan and inclusive. While we encourage you to share your views, we ask you to respect others views. 

    *Understand that WOC is not a job placement agency

    *Understand that WOC cannot offer specific legal advice or health evaluations

    *Understand that WOC does not provide housing or crisis services, but can make appropriate referrals.
